Annual Giving Campaign Kick-Off

Last Thursday a group of dedicated Trustees, Parents and Past Parents gathered in the Kindergym for a Phone-a-thon to kick-off this year’s Annual Giving Campaign. Breakfast With Dads By The Numbers

Students and their dads streamed through the Kindergym on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings last week for our popular Breakfast With Dads.

New Gladwyne Montessori Apparel Supports Upper El Class Trip

Looking for a special gift for your Gladwyne Montessori student? Then order something with our colorful new logo and support the 5th and 6th year Elementary students' class trip to London. Choose from sweatshirts, T-shirts, sweatpants, fleeces and baseball hats. There is even a stuffed teddy bear!

If you order by the end of the month, you will have your order in time for the holidays. Samples of the products will be set up on a table inside the main school building during conferences on November 23 and November 24. Come check them out!

Help Celebrate Gladwyne Montessori's Fabulous Staff!

Every year in December, the PTA shows it's appreciation to our teachers and staff for all of their hard work with a wonderful, festive buffet luncheon in the Kindergym. This year we will be celebrating our Gladwyne Montessori staff on Tuesday, December 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We would love your help making this event more memorable whether its providing flowers to decorate, helping us transform the gym, serving food, making a batch of your favorite soup or pasta or providing another fantastic dish to our feast.

Help Gladwyne Montessori Stuff With Love!

When your child returns home from school tomorrow, be sure to ask them about the good deed they did to help another child. On Thursday, November 19 each Gladwyne Montessori student will participate in Stuffed With Love sewing and stuffing plush teddy bears to be donated to children in need. If students opt to "adopt" their bear and take it home rather than donate it, parents will be asked for a $10 donation at a later date so we can buy a new bear for a special child. Join us for an Evening of Cooking At Ladies Night Out

Come out for an evening of socializing and cooking instruction at Viking Culinary Arts Center in Bryn Mawr on Wednesday, December 2 or Thursday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Helping Kids Gain Their Nutrition Knowledge

Dietitian Emma Fogt, who specializes in children and was recently quoted in The New York Times Magazine, will be at school for Nutrition and You, a student Enrichment Program on December 2 and 3. Emma will be working with Primary and Elementary students to talk about healthy eating and to prepare a healthy snack with them. Be sure to ask your child to demonstrate their new skills at home.
