Position Summary:
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist supports the delivery of services provided by the Business Office including payroll, benefit administration, human resource support, and regulatory compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process payroll, benefit administration, basic accounting and clerical functions to support the Chief Financial & Operating Officer.
- Transmit Payroll
- Create new hire files and maintain existing employee files
- Disseminate HR information to employees
- Assist with employee benefit open enrollment elections
- Process election changes throughout the year
- Filing and record retention
- Reconcile benefits invoices – ensure proper billing for enrolled employees
- Ensure compliance with ACA, HIPAA, FLSA and other applicable regulations
- Track clearances and employee training
- Track employee time and attendance
- Meet all disclosure/reporting requirements
- Assist with risk management
- Assist with audit preparation and bookkeeping as needed
- Complete surveys
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the Chief Financial and Operating Officer
- Assist with operations budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor's (Required)
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Highly organized
- Able to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks
- Conscientious, detail-oriented, and analytical
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's in Human Resources or Accounting
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll & benefit administration, bookkeeping and/or accounting
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Must pass all required clearances (PA Child Abuse, Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History, Federal Criminal History Background Check)

Position Summary:
- This is a part-time, 10-month position. Gladwyne Montessori School is looking for energetic, creative, and responsible After School Assistant Teachers to join our team. We require an experienced and qualified individual who is passionate about working with students from 3 - 12 years and providing them with a fun and educational after-school experience that aligns with our Montessori philosophy.
- This position will be Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of daily activities under the guidance of the Auxiliary Program Manager.
- Coordinate daily activities and supervising aides in the absence of the Auxiliary Program Manager.
- Design after-school activities to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Ensure all after-school classroom environments are maintained to the standards outlined in the Gladwyne Montessori programming documents.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as snack, outdoor recreation, attendance, car line, transitions and clean-up.
- Assist children with all physical needs to be safe and clean in a respectful manner.
- Maintain, prepare, or make materials and environment as needed by the Auxiliary Program Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children aged 3 - 12 years.
- Experience working with children in a Montessori school environment is a plus
- Must be highly motivated, hard-working, and flexible, demonstrate a desire to learn, show initiative, and have a sense of humor.
- Must have knowledge of minimum standards, health and safety practices, social and emotional development, and classroom management;
- Must pass all required clearances (PA Child Abuse, Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History, Federal Criminal History Background Check);
- Must be able to sit comfortably on the floor with children and bend, squat, and kneel with ease;
- Ability to navigate stairs;
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Position Summary:
The Floating Assistant and Substitute Teacher(s) plays an important role by helping to maintain a safe and stimulating environment for the children that aligns with the Montessori philosophy.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and orderly classroom as directed by the Lead teacher that aligns with the Montessori philosophy;
- Assist children with all physical needs to be safe and clean in a respectful manner;
- Maintain, prepare, or make materials and environment as requested by the Lead teacher;
- Assist all children who need guidance and direction in hallways, playgrounds, and changing of classes or programs;
- Contribute to record keeping as directed by the Lead teacher.

Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in a Montessori environment;
- Must have knowledge of minimum standards, health and safety practices, social and emotional development, and classroom management;
- Must have a willingness and interest in pursuing Montessori teaching credential;

Our Summer Camp provides a safe, nurturing camp experience for campers ages 1 - 12 years old at our beautiful 5-acre campus in Gladwyne, PA. Summer Camp runs from Monday, June 10 to August 2, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 1 to 12 years old;
- Prepare and maintain a Montessori classroom environment to the standards outlined by the School.
- Lead a team of teaching assistants to ensure a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment for all campers.
- Plan and lead summer camp activity-based curriculum to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development;
- Make materials and activities based around weekly camp themes;
- Lead and assist with daily tasks, such as meals, car line, nap-time, transitions, and clean-up;
- Assist children with all physical needs to be safe and clean in a respectful manner;

Qualifications:
- AMS-accredited Montessori teaching credential or in active training for AMS-accredited Montessori teaching credential required.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with children aged 1 - 12 years.
- Prior camp experience preferred, but not required
- Must be highly motivated, hard-working, and flexible with experience managing teaching assistants.
